Rockley Tasting 1986/87/2000 Wahnsinns Auftakt mit Honig und Bienenwabe.
The 15 comes around the corner with somewhat different facets. It does not have the spiciness of the 18; the 15 is very pleasant and sweet. The finish is slightly dry, but perfectly balanced. Very nice thing!
Toller „Einstiegs-Rockley“ mit dem typischen Profil dominiert von Honig und Zitrusnoten, dazu Vanille aus dem Fass und dezente Mineralik. Am Gaumen ein ähnliches Bild, jetzt kommt allerdings auch noch eine sehr elegant eingewobene Rauchnote dazu. Grosses Kino.
22.06.2025 Retasting this one while sorting and cataloguing 74 new samples that arrived yesterday. Still a very good rum in my mind. ================ 21.06.2019 Enjoying a few rums with a good friend. Colour Light to medium dark. Nose Fresh, balanced, light anise, light wood, faint floral, light dried fruit, light nutts, lige caramel, spice. Palate Oily, balanced, light wood, faint roasted, light cherry, light berries, light caramel, light licorice, faint medicinal. Finish Medium to long, light wood, light citrus, light berries, light caramel, faint chocolate, light marzipan. This was a very nice surprise and a pretty well balanced rum.
