This is a rum where I should have bought a few extra bottles, because it's a great rum and now the price has gone through the roof. The nose is sweet well balanced between wood, fruit and spices. A true masterpiece in my mind. The palate is complex and well balanced with wood, fruit and spices and a tad of chocolate. The finish is long and complex as well as well balanced between wood, fruit and spices. Try to nose the empty glass after a few hours, it'll blow you away and especially the chocolate shines through.
Extrem leckerer Bellevue 98. Ausgewogen, komplex und lecker. Vollreife Papaya, getrocknete Aprikosen, Milchschokolade, grüner Pfeffer, Ingwer, Zimt und Vanille. Alkoholstärke perfekt gewählt. Definitiv Mal ein etwas anderer Bellevue 98. Danke an Pavol fürs Sample!
What a pity it lacks a hair's breadth.
What a lovely Bellevue. Even for 17 years this is extremely complex, maybe a bit to sharp for 50% but that is really only a little fail....
