I'm enjoying this rum right now, I just couldn't wait until the weekend :-) The nose is wonderful on this one. Sweet oak and orange with vanilla and caramel. There is also a floral hint once rested. The palate has a nice body, dry like Samaroli with spices and fruit. There is also wood with a hint of mint and peat. The finish is long and dry with wood and vanilla.
Level: moderate (2 of 5). Fermented but still quite sweet. Nice spice. A bit of peat. Overall pleasing but a bit watery, however no alcohol taste so very well balanced. Long taste that keeps fulfilling the tastes already found which is an indication for me of a beautifully crafted bottle.
