It was distilled in 2003 from Molasses with a Pot and Column Still and then aged for 12 years. The rum has an ABV of 42%. "The Madeira finish is well integrated. Unfortunately, a bit too diluted for my taste."
"Tried this because it's madeira finish, but as I'm accustomed to high proof rum this one was mostly a tease. No taste was especially clear I think. Light leathery citrus caramel with a dash of water. A little bit of grassy notes mingles with the leather. Not any peculiar finish."
