Es kommt nicht oft vor, dass ich einen Rum aus meinem Geburtsjahr verkosten kann. Heute ist es wieder mal soweit. 😀😀😀 Sehr tiefe, volle Nase, irgendwie alt, ohne dass ich es genau beschreiben kann. Lack, getrocknete Früchte, Vanille. Würzig und nussig. Warm, kräftig und ausgewogen. Wenn man ordentlich schnuppert kommen Weichseln. Ester? Nein, nicht hier. 🤩🤩🤩 Im Mund dann staubig, holzig und würzig. Ganz leicht wässrig, das könnte aber auch am Alter des Samples liegen. Langer, holziger Abgang. Das Highlight ist sicherlich diese alte, ehrwürdige Nase, richtig schön. 30 Jahre Reifung waren hier perfekt. Toller Rum, von dem ich gerne mehr zum gemütlich Trinken hätte.

Die Nase ist hervorragend! Sehr intensiv, viel Holz, Tabak, leichte Sherry-Noten. Der Gaumen kann leider nicht ganz mit der Nase mithalten. Hier fehlt durch die Verdünnung etwas Tiefe und Komplexität.
