“A rum you can't really dislike. Super pleasing, sweet profile, without ever seeming clumsy, sticky or uninteresting. The other flavors around smoke, spice and nuts are also so harmoniously embedded that there is neither too much bitterness, spicy sharpness nor too hackneyed sweetness. This balance is unfortunately somewhat at the expense of complexity, which is why it is not enough for me to the very highest consecration. Nevertheless, impressive quality and an excellent rum that shows its existing flavor profile in perfection.”
