Bought me a sample of it, cause it’s more or less sold out at least from shops where I can buy from. The vintage is 2012 and it’s aged for 4 years in oak barrels. J.R. stands for Joseph Reimonenq one of the founders of the distillery. I believe that the successor is the J.R. Cuvée Speciale, but haven’t tasted it yet.
Had a very nice Reimonenq tasting today and it was nice to have it presented by an expert in the brand. This one was not really my cup of tea. A very light version of the others we tried.
