The "Demerara Dark" was produced in Guyana at the Demerara Distillers Ltd distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Samaroli. It was distilled in 2005 from Molasses and then aged for 12 years. The rum has an ABV of 45%.

“12.01.2019 I received a huge lot of Samaroli samples from my friend in the UK, and this is the first batch I tried. Notes. Light in colour. Nose: light, wood, light smoke, plum, caramel, citrus, medicinal. Palate: light, wood, citrus, berries, medicinal, sweet, light nutts. Finish: medium long, light, wood, dried fruit, light nutts.”
