22.04.2006 This location is a must visit if you're in Shanghai. A beautiful centre piece at the riverside of Pudong. Notes. Light in colour. Light wood with spices and citrus. Palate is warm and velvety with dried fruit, wood and spices. Finish is medium to long with smoky wood, citrus and dried fruit.
Viel Holzeinfluss, ohne ins Bittere zu kippen. Holz, Rauch und Früchte treten auf, bleiben aber zurückhaltend. Angenehm zu trinken, ausgewogen, gute Komplexität. Reicht aber für mich relativ klar nicht an den Referenz-Jahrgang 1986 mit seinen diversen vorzüglichen Vertretern heran.
Rockley Tasting 1986/87/2000 Nr 4. Erneut beeindruckend, was für Geschmacksvolumen bei so niedrigem ABV möglich ist.
