"Great, typical 1997 Caroni nose. Powerful in relation to the alcohol content. Perfectly balanced. Beautiful mouthfeel, powerful and warm. Very nice, long finish. The prototype of an (excellent) 1997 Caroni. Everything there, no extras."

"Very good, delicious, powerfull Caroni from 1997! Tar, Varnish, Bicycle tube in the foreground, followed from a nice woody note with some hints of roasted almonds. Sometimes also some fruity notes like banana, cherries and passion fruit comes through! The alcohol is integrated very well! Very dirty and delicious!🤤"

"a real revelation compared to the recently tasted whiskey Doris 97 Caroni. On the nose dirty notes, but not too aggressive, in between always a touch of dried fruit and caramel. On the palate workshop, motor oil, dark chocolate, burnt sugar. A nice smoky bacon note on the finish. Stands on par with the good 97 Bristol or S.B.S. bottlings for me. Best thanks to Vienna for the sample."
