The "Heavy Trinidad Rum (The Nectar) HTR" was produced in Trinidad at the Caroni distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Velier. It was distilled in 2000 from Molasses and then aged for 15 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 70,4% and the mark is HTR. This is a limited release and there are only 180 bottles.

“Mentholig, frische Nase, die an Gin erinnert. Gefällt mir persönlich nicht so gut. Am Gaumen verschwindet die Gin-Note und eine tolle Cremigkeit und Würze kommt zum Vorschein. Insgesamt überwiegt aber der negative Eindruck der Gin-Nase.”

“28.11.2017 Meeting up at a friend's house each one bringing a bottle. Pretty surprised that there were 3 Cadenhead's in the pot. Notes Dark in colour. Nose Fresh, wood, light roasted, light mint, pine, faint wood and tar, light nutts. Palate Oily, balanced, wood, light roasted, light floral, light rubber, cherry, light caramel, faint tar. Finish Long and warm, light rubber and tar, dried fruit, light floral. Extra note ABV pretty well integrated.”
