How does this rum taste?
The Panama Rum - Ruby Port Cask Finish is a unique 8-year-aged rum produced in Panama, carefully selected by El Ron del Artesano. Distilled from Molasses using a Column Still, this rum features characteristic notes of berries, port, and dried fruits on the nose. Its taste profile is mild and sweet, with hints of woody and fruity flavors, underpinned by a gentle alcoholic finish. Despite some criticism for being overly diluted, the limited release of just 276 bottles adds to its allure. User reviews highlight its fruity aroma but note that the taste could benefit from a higher alcohol content and a more pronounced port influence, offering a distinctive yet understated drinking experience.

Farbe: Rotbraun - Chestnut Oloroso Sherry Geruch: Leicht, frisch, süß und weinig-fruchtig. Riecht deutlich nach Portwein. Geschmack: Mild im Mund, sehr rund und fruchtig beim Schlucken. Überhaupt nicht alkoholisch oder würzig, dafür süß und weinig. Rote Früchte, verwässert. Abgang: Mittellang Portwein, vor allem im Nachgeschmack. Holzig bitter und unangenehm.
A successful rum to my taste.
Leider sehr stark runterverdünnt und somit extra flach im Geruch als auch im Geschmack. Schade ein paar Prozente mehr hätten ihm bestimmt gut getan
