The first time I've heard of this rum. The color is quite dark, turning orange. The nose is of dried fruit, sour apple, raisins and apricot. Almost no alcohol. The palate is honeyed, with more dried fruit, apple and a hint of pencil lead. The finish is not so short and leaves an impression of honey and pome fruit.
A nice rum and was better than my expectations. Not sure I would buy a bottle but happy I tried it. Overall very fruity with a pleasant nose with lots of apple, pear, apricot and some vanilla and sweetness. The empty glass has strong smell of dates. Taste is pretty good and the alcohol is decently integrated. Finish starts with candid fruit for a short while then transitions into something less pleasant.
