How does this rum taste?
RumX members praise its surprising maturity and complexity for just three years. Expect fresh sugarcane and citrus on the nose with woody spice; the palate brings pepper, tobacco and marked oak, still balanced and lively. Selected by Chantal Comte at 53.5% from La Mauny, this limited 3,000‑bottle release is a popular pick on RumX with 65 reviews, often called a great agricole.

Very fresh, lime, dried fruit. Crisp. The alcohol could be a little better integrated. Great Agricole! The right book to go with it: Fermor's "The Traveler's Tree", of course the chapter on Martinique.
