"On The Rocks: On the nose you get a balanced mixture of fruit, floral, spice and oak. Taste reveals a very strong spice, alcoholic and sherry presence. The finish is long with the sherry sweetened slowly fading away with a bit of a buttery feel in the mouth. There is a slight delayed burn in the back of your throat. This is a very interesting rum and presents like a much more expensive rum. It is a nice sipper that can be enjoyed on the rocks. Mixed Pepsi Zero: On the nose old sherry cask. Taste is moderately sweet with sherry notes shining through. Finish is short but nice, but not vanishing instantly. This could be enjoyed nicely either mixed or on the rocks."
"The marcipan and apricot/peaces makes this rum stand out somewhat."
"a little cherry in the aroma taste drier, prickly, sharp (it's 5YO and 46%)"
"Marvellous. Heavy spirits of just 46 ABV, but immediately followed but a distinct spicy peppery and quite long taste. Later I'm getting the aged vanilla citrusy oloroso cask finish. Definitely punches above is weight. Very much worth the price."
