How does this rum taste?
- Sweet and naturally rounded
- Unique aromatic profile
- Smoky chocolate finish
Chairman’s Reserve Master’s Selection (Salon du Rhum) hails from Saint Lucia, crafted meticulously at the Saint Lucia Distillers. Distilled in 2011 using both pot and column stills from molasses, this 46% ABV rum matured for 8 years. Its aromatic spectrum spans caramel and dried fruits, with hints of marmalade and vanilla. The palate reveals dried fruit, vanilla, nutty notes, and young wood accents, delivering a well-rounded yet somewhat subdued experience. Limited to 317 bottles, reviews highlight its natural sweetness and light profile, yet suggest room for improved complexity and alcohol integration. Enhancing the experience, notes of chocolate and a smoky finish add intrigue. Ideal for collectors seeking unique, evolving expressions from Saint Lucia.

To Saint Lucia Distillers
"Viele neue Eindrücke. Rauch, Eiche und Lakritz?!? Dennoch ein sehr gelungener Rum. Wie gewohnt ein starker St.Lucia"
"Alkohol ist schlecht eingebunden."
"#4446 02.11.2023 Not too bad but a but light on the profile. Well rounded and naturally sweet. I like my Chairman's Reserve bold and in your face and this one is on the lighter side. Medium fruity and fresh. Palate is oily and has some licorice and nutts. The finish is medium long with some chocolate. The empty glass has a light smoky note and the chocolate is more obvious."
"Recht viel junges Holz. Und er kommt noch ein wenig unausgewogen daher. Leider fehlt ihm destillateigengeschmack."
