“Besser als die Indian Ocean-Schwesterabfüllung von Chamarel, aber auch hier kommt etwas zu weniger rüber, dass den Rum über die Schwelle der blossen Gefälligkeit hebt. Zwar sind insgesamt etwas mehr Ecken und Kanten vorhanden (erwähnenswert ist das Zusammenspiel aus Schwarztee mit den fruchtigen Noten, das zu einer interessanten Melange aus Frucht-, Würz- und Bitternoten führt) - am Ende aber bleibt das Ganze aber etwas zu wenig komplex. Vermutlich hätten auch hier ein paar Jahre mehr Lagerung geholfen, um das Geschmacksprofil aufzuwerten - so bleibt der Rum insgesamt zu unspektakulär, um nachhaltig in Erinnerung zu bleiben.”

“This one is pretty good especially when looking at the price tag at release. Fruity and fresh as well as warm on the palate once rested for a good while. I love the roasted almost burned wood notes on the profile.”
