A very nice rum and the price when released was very good compared to what you get. The nose is fresh with grass, dried fruit trailed by anise, leather and chocolate. If you leave the empty glass for a couple of hour the notes get even stronger. The palate is fresh with spices, fruitcake and berries as well as light wood, spices and leather. The finish is long with fruits and light wood and spices.
Superb old long pond.
