“Day 1 in the Christmas calendar. Blind. Sure Jamaica. But would not have guessed Hampden, rather New Yarmouth or Long Pond! The alcohol was not that noticeable, so already well integrated. Pleasant nose, only slight ester notes. Fruity and vanilla with a distinct lovage note at the back.On the palate, the nose is confirmed. Out the back still a light but fat smokiness.Overall a good and somewhat surprising rum.”
