How does this rum taste?
Demerara Rum, distilled in 1988 at Enmore (Versailles) and bottled by Moon Import, captures the essence of Guyanese craftsmanship. This limited release of 660 bottles, aged 23 years, boasts a sophisticated profile distilled from molasses using a pot still. It offers a refined bouquet of leather, barrel notes, prunes, and allspice. On the palate, expect a complex blend of leather, barrel, prunes, and roasted elements, finishing with subtle anise. With an ABV of 46%, it retains depth and intricacy despite its dilution. Highly praised by connoisseurs, this rum balances age, flavor, and aroma harmoniously, showcasing dark, spicy undertones that resonate with seasoned enthusiasts.
