"A Père Labat antique that opens with superb, atypical solvent notes, very pronounced fruity aromas of tropical fruit, citrus and dried fruit, a subtle vegetal and floral framework and notes of brown sugar, toffee and marzipan complete this very well-balanced, complex profile. On the palate, the spice and floral/vegetal profile is followed by leather, bitterness and very subdued fruit. The alcohol is very well integrated. The very long finish continues the earthy structure with notes of tobacco and tea, spices, bitterness, nuts and dark chocolate. A complete, intense and complex rum, one of Marie-Galante's rarities."
"A good rum but would have loved a bit more fruityness that were in the others and slightly higher ABV. "
"Wahnsinnig spannender alter Vintage Pere labat! Papaya, Nuss, hochwertiger Matcha tee, Honig und Karamell. Alkohol perfekt integriert und einfach nur unfassbar lecker. Toller Stoff und tolle süßlich sahnige Viskosität!"
