Insanely good Venezuela. Together with the RA my absolute benchmark Venezuela cask strength rum. Incredibly tasty and harmonious!

Very nice dark / sweet / fruity nose as you would expect. Smelling this one is very enjoyable. On the palate again dark / sweet / woody notes as you would expect. Unfortunately, alcohol is a tick too present and there is quite some harshness which you can find regularly in high proof column stills.

A beautiful vintage and in my opinion much better than the 12 year old from cdi

This is a really good CDI considering the price tag. The nose is fruity with spices topped with some barrel and a hint of leather. The palate is slightly sweet and spicy with fruits and chocolate/coffee. In the back i find cognac and a hint of medicinal notes. The finish is long and warm, slightly bitter/spicy with oak and raisins.
