Blindverkostung: eine trockene würzige & fruchtige Nase, wahrscheinlich aus einer guyanischen Pot Still. Holz, feuchtes Gras, Anis und tropische Früchte in Form von Papaya und Honigmelone. Definitiv keine Fassstärke, da ich in der Nase kaum Alkohol wahrnehme. Am Gaumen dann trockenes Holz, Anis und eine leichte würzige Süße mit vermutlich 46-50%. Am Gaumen setzt sich der Gedanke des Pot Still Rums aus Guyana auf jeden Fall fort mit einem Alter von vielleicht 10-12 Jahren. Der Abgang ist würzig trocken und mittel lang. Mir gefällt dieser Rum ganz gut, kann mich aber nicht auf einen bestimmten Kandidaten festlegen – hatte ihn vermutlich auch noch nicht im Glas. 82 Punkte
