How does this rum taste?
Most reviewers are drawn to Captain Morgan Black Label Jamaica Rum for its striking fruity and spicy profile, especially the notes of cherry and plum. While some find the aroma quite alcoholic, it reveals interesting layers of red fruits and subtle spice, which pairs well in classic rum and cola drinks. Many use it as a mixer rather than for sipping, noting it's more characterful than modern variations. Worth a try for those seeking value in cocktails or curious about Jamaica's rum history.

Day 3 of Artur's calendar is getting more and more obscure. I would never have thought of a Captain Morgen. Neither spiced nor sugared and the fact that Long Pond had a share in it was very interesting. I had more associations. With the taste of Guadeloupe. Very wacky. Nothing to do with the current bottlings.
Funny calendar day 3 Thank you very much
Great in a rum and cola with lemon.
This one isn't for sipping. Tastes very poor imo. I mixed what was left in my glencairn glass with some cola. I must say that i liked that combination.
