How does this rum taste?
Capitan Bucanero Elixir leans toward the sweeter side, with most RumX tasters catching ripe notes of apricot, cherry, plum and citrus-mandarin on the nose and palate. The rum draws split reactions—some, like Pongo, note a “milder, erstaunlich runder Gesamteindruck” while others find it “a bit too sweet, not the most favourite" (@Allan Palmkroon). A gentle, punch-like roundness sits alongside pronounced sugary cherry and raisin tones, though several mention the sweetness dominates.

This was just a random extra sweet sip experiment with Bucanero. I’m not the target group, I just tasted it from curiosity. Well the suchar was everywhere, little cherry notes on palate, but very far from drinkable experience.
