The "Plantation Barbados" was produced in Barbados at the Mount Gay distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Maison Ferrand. It was distilled in 2007 from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 12 years. The rum has an ABV of 58,5%.

Alkoholic, but with some water it improves much and becomes somewhat creamy in the mouth. Water also releasens a hint of garage and petrol in the nose
