Un rhum agricole de 3 ans, qui a à la fois un côté fougueux de jeune rhum et une expression plus sage de rhum vieux. D’un côté, la canne à sucre, les notes de terre et d’alcool tapissent le décor au nez, puis les notes plus épicées, boisées et fruitées apportent ce côté classique des rhums agricoles. En bouche, on a à la fois un rhum sec et léger. Les notes de bois et de café se joignent à une amertume non déplaisante, disposée sur un profil sombre et doucement épicé. La finale, de longueur correcte, se veut assez vive et marquée par des notes de tabac, d’épices, de noix et de toast. Le côté fruité et le caramel sont très discrets. Un rhum vieux typique qui offre une belle entrée de gamme pour Dillon.
