Vinegar on the nose here too. But then the vanilla comes out. Gallingly sweet, but not mine
I tried it today at the distillery at Chamarel after a short tour. The distillery has a seasonal break now and will resume operation during the sugar cane harvest around August. The sugar cane is grown by the distillery, they use both green and red types. Distillery owns a column and a pot still. This one was from a series of liqueurs. I can imagine as part of a cocktail or over a chunk of ice. Ton of sugar is felt.
I needed an agricole vanilla liqueur for some cocktails but on its own i’m not mega impressed. It has a cloying sweetness that isn’t great beyond a few sips. It’s just not round enough to integrate all that sweetness.
Alkoholische auf der Zunge. Dann leichte vanillenoten. Ziemlich süß.
