“This is a great Rattray in my mind. From the moment you open the bottle you know that this is a Caroni. The nose is heavy with runner, varnish and tar but there is also a tiny bit of fruit and vanilla. The palate is heavy as well though a bit more fruity than the nose. The rubber and polish is there with some fruits, caramel and spices. In the back i get a floral note. The finish is extremely long with barrel, tannins, spices and rubber in the back.”
