A very nice rum from Angostura. The price is in the medium range and it definitely matches the taste and quality. A bit sweet with a spice end. Rest for a while before tasting.

Un rhum de Trinidad dont on ressent quelques marqueurs typiques au nez, notamment les notes toastées, épicées et mentholées qui accompagnent quelques notes chocolatées, boisées, mielleuses et fruitées. En bouche, on ressent un contraste entre les notes plus rôties et sombres d’un côté et les notes plus fraîches et florales de l’autre. Les fruits, les épices et le bois se font une place au milieu de cette bataille aromatique. On retrouve une finale assez moyenne en longueur avec pas mal d’épices, du menthol et quelques fruits qui subsistent. Un rhum classique et traditionnel en somme, qui permettra aux novices d’apprécier des saveurs un peu plus variées et complexes que les rhums hispaniques de base.
