How does this rum taste?
A generally unimpressive rum that delivers a sharp alcoholic bite with faint hints of fruit, vanilla, and chocolate. Dubiously colored, it's thin-bodied and artificially sweet, with many doubtful of its pure rum origins. Best skipped despite its affordability.

“This rum would probably not be recognized as a rum in a blind tasting. For 40% it is quite tangy and smells more like a fruit brandy than a rum. Light amber in color it is certainly colored and sweetened. The base could be a Foursquare diluted almost beyond recognition with neutral alcohol. Quite little wood, quite sweet, with little spice. The taste has probably fallen victim to the price of 8.99€.”

“This rum has a fruity nose, also with some vanilla and chocolate. In the mouth disappointingly thin, somewhat sweet, alcoholic spicy and fruity. Nothing new in the short finish. Overall, a rather unspectacular rum.”

“Ziemlich alkoholisch-scharf, irgendwie künstlich. Mit Rum hat das tatsächlich wenig zu tun, darüber rettet auch der Preis nicht hinweg.”
