How does this rum taste?
The HSE Sherry Oloroso Finish rum, crafted at Martinique's Distillerie du Simon, is a distinctive spirit with a unique character. Distilled from sugar cane juice and aged for over nine years, it features a pronounced sherry finish. Users describe its aroma as rich with nutmeg, Demerara sugar, and fruity vanilla notes, while the palate is marked by sweetness and spice, with hints of marmalade and tobacco. Praised for its complexity despite its youth, it offers balanced flavors with a satisfying finish. Notably, its integration of sherry is well-executed, adding depth without overpowering the rum's agricole roots. Some mention a lingering bitterness in the aftertaste, leaving their experience slightly unfinished.

This is a other surprisingly good rum. Naturally sweet and I think even a beginner in the Agricole world woul like this one. A young rum that is pretty complex of its age, fruity with spices, yum. Price to quality is very good.
Excellent rhum sherry
