"A very standard white rum, intended for mass distribution and mixology. The nose is fresh, vegetal and herbaceous, with a touch of pepper and a slightly fruity veil. Clean, simple and precise. On the palate, the sugarcane comes back with a vengeance, followed by notes of exotic fruit and citrus. Dry, agricultural and slightly spicy, this rum is nevertheless a little bland compared with other white rums. The finish lasts longer than expected, with a touch of spice but overall dominated by vegetal and grassy flavors. We also note the return of citrus fruits, which nicely embellish this finish. A very classic rum in itself, which will fare better in cocktails than in tasting."
"A typical standard rum agricole from the Caribbean, here from Martinique. It tastes very fresh and slightly fruity, just like a typical Martinique rum. The finish is spicy, but still quite quick. I like this rum."
"Pretty fresh and dry nose. Vegetal, floral, smells grass. Also felt something like pepper and a kind of fruity flavour. Nothing complex but overall agreeable. Palate gives vegetal, sugarcane, fruity and citrus notes. Still dry, fresh and slightly spicy. Finish is short and gives the same flavour as seen before, with domination of vegetal. Along this we can find citrus and grass. Agreeable for a quick casual drink, but not not good enough for a real tasting."
