“Un rhum blanc très standard, destiné à la grande distribution et à la mixologie. Le nez est frais, végétal et herbacé, avec une touche poivrée et un voile légèrement fruité. C’est net, simple et précis. En bouche, la canne à sucre revient de plus belle, suivie par des notes de fruits exotiques et d’agrumes. Sec, agricole et légèrement épicé, c’est un rhum toutefois un peu fade comparé à d’autres rhums blancs. La finale dure plus longtemps qu’escomptée, avec une touche épicée mais globalement dominée par les saveurs végétales et herbeuses. On notera également le retour des agrumes, qui agrémentent joliment cette finale. Un rhum très classique en soit, qui s’en sortira mieux en cocktail qu’en dégustation.”
