Decent Caroni notes but (out of the 1998s) lacks some of the excitement and punch the destillery is associated with.

Ein typischer Caroni mit nicht ganz so ausgeprägten Aromen! Der Alkohol ist sehr gut eingebunden! Insgesamt ein Caroni der sanfteren Art, der auch größere Schlücke erlaubt, klasse

Nase und Abgang haben mir beide wunderbar gefallen. Aber der Gaumen war derartig seltsam, dass ich mich Frage, ob mit dem Sample etwas nicht gestimmt hat. Schöne 1998er Caroni Nase mit dreckigen Komponenten, die durch Noisette und Frucht ergänzt werden. Nur der Gaumen war extrem alkolohisch auf der Zunge und hat trotz des relativ niedrigen ABV den Schönsten Moment des Trinkens fast ruiniert.

Interessant, aber kein Rum den ich jeden Tag trinken würde. Eventuell komme ich ja noch auf den Geschmack von Caroni.
