The "Single Cask" was produced in Martinique at the Trois Rivières distillery. It was distilled in 2005 from Sugar cane juice with a Column Still and then aged for 13 years 5mo. 10.10.2020 Sample tasting at home. Notes Dark in colour. Nose Fresh, light wood, spice, light floral, berries, light orange, faint chocolate. Palate Oily, wood, light roasted, fruits, berries, light citrus, light chocolate, floral, clove. Finishg Medium to long, wood, citrus, light floral, spice.
Very good rum. 3R impressed me during this tasting.
Not many tasting notes on this one, tasted at the rhumfest. But it's really the one I preferred on the 3 Rivières stand. Very nice balance between spice and sweetness. Nice length. A truly beautiful Agricole.
Very nice nose - fresh, almost powdery. Taste was rich and pleasant. Long lingering aftertaste
