Introducing the Rhum Grande Arôme Vieux, a limited release of only 780 bottles from the Savanna distillery in Reunion. Distilled in 2006 from Molasses with a Column Still and aged for 12 years, this rum boasts an ABV of 56.5%. When it comes to aroma, you'll find tropical fruit, leather, fruity notes, solvents, and oak. The flavor profile features fruity, oak, apple, funky, and spice aspects. RumX users praise its great aromatic power, enjoyable fruity notes, and the influence of Cognac barrel aging. Although some find it lacking the expressive character of other Savanna GAs, it is still considered a remarkably fine rum by the community.

“A really good Grand Arôme and well worth the price tag. Well balanced and fruity with nice spices and a warm palate. Nice and intense on the nose and palate. The empty glass is really nice and I can pick up some pastry notes.”
