    "Bristol PM Crosstasting #4: es zeigt sich allgemein ein AufwĂ€rttrend, der bei dieser AbfĂŒllung etwas in Stocken gerĂ€t. Ähnlich der VorgĂ€nger, in der Nase zusĂ€tzlich GebĂ€ck. In der Nase neben tropischen FrĂŒchten auch TrockenfrĂŒchte."

    "Klassisches PM-Profil mit viel Fruchteinschlag, herben dunklen GewĂŒrzen von Piment, Anis, Lakritz sowie Fassnoten, etwas KrĂ€utern und Röstaromatik. Trotz der Frucht recht trocken ausgelegt, die VerdĂŒnnung funktioniert sehr gut und lĂ€sst die KomplexitĂ€t des Destillats schön aufscheinen."

    "Le nez n'est pas dĂ©sagrĂ©able. TrĂšs sucrĂ© de prime abord, mais aussi trop d'alcool au dĂ©part. On arrive quand mĂȘme Ă  y dĂ©celer des touches fruitĂ©es : un fruit doux type pĂȘche ou abricot. Presque un bonbon. Une fois en bouche, tout s'Ă©croule : alcool et amertume. La rĂ©duction a Ă©tĂ© brutale. C'est aqueux et plat. Pour un Diamond 1999, on est loin du compte. La finale est moins mauvaise, mais pas beaucoup plus agrĂ©able. Et malheureusement, ça reste assez longtemps en bouche."

    "Le nez est portĂ© sur des notes terreuses-herbacĂ©es. Et on retrouve de la rĂ©glisse et de l’anis. Mais pas que, on retrouve Ă©galement du raisin sec, du boisĂ© et du cuir. Le nez est familier, mais il est complexe et intĂ©ressant. En bouche, c’est Ă©picĂ© et assez intense mĂȘme Ă  46%. Il n’est pas parfaitement Ă©quilibrĂ© voir lĂ©gĂšrement alcooleux. On retrouve une astringence voir une amertume un peu dĂ©rangeante dĂ» Ă  cette prĂ©dominance de boisĂ©. Mais heureusement des fruits tropicaux permettent d’adoucir cela. La finale est chaude et plutĂŽt sĂšche sur le boisĂ© anisĂ©. La conclusion est que ce PM est une bonne image de cet alambic, il lui manque un peu de gourmandise et est donc dĂ©diĂ© aux amis des rhums plus secs. Il me fait un peu penser Ă  son frĂšre l’El Dorado Rare Collection PM 99"
