The "Trinidad" was produced in Trinidad at the T.D.L distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Compagnie des Indes. It was distilled in 2003 from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 15 years. The rum has an ABV of 44%. This is a limited release and there are only 366 bottles. 26 community members rated this rum with an average of 7.4/10. Nose: fruit dominates, but also vanilla and wood.Palate: incredibly intense fruit aromas at the start, including peach, pear, melon. Then the spice mixes in. Wood, but also subtle notes of rubber. Finish: Even in the finish still fruity.Conclusion: Super interplay of fruit and spice. Definitely something quite different, although not super complex. Buy recommendation!
