The "Trinidad" was produced in Trinidad at the T.D.L distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Compagnie des Indes. It was distilled in 2003 from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 15 years. The rum has an ABV of 44%. Palate Oily, fresh, light wood, faint smoke, light chocolate, faint caramel, fruits, light melon, faint polish, light mint. Finish Long, fresh, oily, light wood, light mango, light medicinal, light mint. Empty glass Mint, light vanilla, chocolate, light caramel, faint floral, faint iodine, light cherry.
Solider minzig fruchtiger TDL aber leider zu sehr verdünnt. Dennoch ein Paradebeispiel für das 2003er Vintage.
Quite reserved and unexciting.
Overall somewhat disappointing, interesting only strong lychee note, definitely a unique selling point
