"29.01.2022 The big Caroni tasting with old rum buddies, good food, snacks and a lot of talking about old times. Notes Medium dark colour. Nose Wood, roasted, workshop, leather, light rubber, tar, light smoke, apricot. Palate Well rounded, wood, roasted, light smoke, spice, tar, light rubber, faint caramel and leather, cherry. Finish Long and warm, wood, roasted, petrol, cherry, faint chocolate, faint tar and rubber."
"Very intense on the nose. The alcohol could be a little better integrated. On the palate, the classic 2000 DNA comes to the fore with plenty of power. A very good representative of the 2000 vintage."
"Incredibly long finish 🥰"
"Epic Velier Caroni Tasting 2023: Very good representative from 2000, but doesn't quite come close to the absolute high-flyers of this excellent vintage."
