How does this rum taste?
- Woody and spicy aroma
- Balanced nose
- Flavorful finish
The Karukera Rhum Vieux Agricole is a charming expression from Guadeloupe, distilled from sugar cane juice using a Column Still. With its woody, peppery aroma, and notes of citrus and vanilla, this rum has garnered mixed impressions. While praised for its pleasant, balanced nose and enjoyable spicy undertones, some find it slightly lacking in depth and finish. The rum offers a rich, intense flavor profile marked by spice and nutmeg. At 42% ABV, it achieves a harmonious yet bold taste, appealing to both connoisseurs and casual drinkers. With an average user rating of around 7 out of 10, it's considered a good buy, particularly for those seeking a well-rounded agricoles experience.

To Karukera
"A Karukera that looks quite young on paper, but already has a lot to offer, especially on the nose. Woody, toasty, fruity (citrus, dried fruit, coconut), spicy, greedy on cocoa and mocha before being overtaken by unexpected floral notes, this Karukera has a seductive, balanced profile. The rum is equally pleasant on the palate. There's a fruity structure, bordered by spices, with a hint of cocoa, woody notes of lightly toasted toast and an earthy touch that dries out the palate. Gentle yet expressive, with a masterful overall impression. The finish is warm and spicy, with almost empyreumatic notes of walnut and roasting. An effective, well-crafted rum, perhaps a little pricey but well-fleshed out for only 3 years' ageing."
"Je le trouve un peu trop alcoolique à mon goût aussi non c'est un non c'est un bon petit rhum."
