“I got this bottle yesterday and couldn't wait until the weekend with the tasting. This is a relatively light rum and I had expected a rum with more punch to it. The nose has bourbon on it with sweet caramel and heavy vanilla notes with a bit of coconut. The palate is dominated by caramel with a lot of spices and you can really taste the burnt molasses. The finish is long and has burnt oak and spices that linger for very long.”

“This Rum is a good example of American Rum, that seems to target the home market and thus has nuances of other prevailing spirits there, like bourbon. It is nice, but not exceptional... Reminds me of Bourbon as well as some Babados Rums.”
