“Day 11 in the Christmas calendar. Blind! Oh how beautiful. And clearly Guyana. Very round, balanced, good rum.Nose: intense woody-spicy. Slightly lemony. Chocolate, vanilla and cocoa. Seems dark overall, slightly sulfurous but not musty. Dark fruit, like plum, leather, orange and barrel out back.Palate: spicy-woody-bitter-sweet. Intense, full-bodied and really tasty. There is leather, oak, malt and nutmeg, some cocoa and slightly licorice at the back.Woody, spicy also in the finish with some black tea.For me a real buy recommendation!”

“Overall a bit too bitter and alcohol not particularly well integrated.”
