“#4660 17.03.2024 Sitting at home relaxing a bit with some TV series running on the telly 😊 Nose Intense, floral, fresh, fruity, citrus, light grass. Palate Medium oily, fresh, intense, sugarcane, warm, light nutts, fruity, citrus, faint licorice. Finish Medium to long, warm, sugarcane, citrus, faint licorice. The empty glass has some light medicinal and faint anise notes. Price to quality is very good in my mind. Also a very good sipper though made for mixing. ABV is really well integrated.”

“Surprisingly "pleasing" as far as you can say at 76%! 😅 Again the green apple, kiwi and bitter almond as well as slightly spicy, nutty and furry notes. Again, a slight sweetness that is atypical for Agricole and at the same time a slight saltiness that I like. In the finish, there is some black pepper, licorice, liquorice and aniseed. At no point too alcoholic or too tiring despite the high %. Reimonenq is and remains an exceptional talent from Guadeloupe! Unfortunately, I don't like it at all in the daiquiri, where it becomes very bitter and metallic, which surprises me because other rums such as st James bio brut de colonne with 74.2% do much better here. Therefore pure 80 points due to the bad daiquiri but a few points deduction.”

“Overall a very interesting and strong Agricole with some of the typical ReimonenQ notes. Have had a bottle of this Brut Double Colonne from ReimonenQ in Guadeloupe for a while and bought me a sample recently to check it out before opening the bottle. This distillate was taken directly from the distillation column at ABV 76% and loaded aboard a sailboat in glass bottles so that the rum does not evolve anymore. 600 bottles were produced.”
