Bacardi Facundo Paraiso
Solid, well-crafted dessert-style rum with cocoa, oak and cognac notes that many enjoy, though some find it too soft and underpowered for the price and presentation.
Those building their palate who enjoy smooth, sweet-leaning sippers with cocoa, biscuits and gentle oak, and Bacardi fans curious about a more mature, Cognac-influenced profile.

How does this rum taste?
Soft, oaky dessert-style Bacardi
If you like softer premium rums like Diplomático or Zacapa but want something drier and more Cognac-leaning, this is a logical next bottle—just know you’re paying a lot for the presentation.
Enthusiasts chasing high-ABV intensity, big funk or outstanding value; anyone who dislikes sweeter, dessert-style column still rums.
Unfortunately a little too diluted, but not tasteless.

The rum itself is amazingly complex for this style and the reduction to drinking strength. The PLV fits here for me but still not. With a higher ABV would certainly have been significantly more in it.
Auto-translatedConsidering the price, this rum should be a lot better and a poor choice in quality to price when looking at the Facundo lineup. The nose is light and fruity with vanilla and caramel and a hint of cognac. The palate is complex and dry, yet velvety with fruit and spices. In the back i get chocolate, cookies and cognac. On too of that a good shot of oak. The finish is medium long with smoky oak and raisins and a hint of marzipan.
Unfortunately a little too diluted, but not tasteless.
