“The rum itself is amazingly complex for this style and the reduction to drinking strength. The PLV fits here for me but still not. With a higher ABV would certainly have been significantly more in it.”

“Considering the price, this rum should be a lot better and a poor choice in quality to price when looking at the Facundo lineup. The nose is light and fruity with vanilla and caramel and a hint of cognac. The palate is complex and dry, yet velvety with fruit and spices. In the back i get chocolate, cookies and cognac. On too of that a good shot of oak. The finish is medium long with smoky oak and raisins and a hint of marzipan.”
