Short trip to Reunion September 2024. Finally, the 3 series Rhum Arrange from Riviere du Mat. It starts with caramelized pineapple. And that's exactly how it comes across on the nose and palate. A little sweet, but still within reason. It's quite okay.
Well, as the name suggests, there's not much you can say here apart from the word pineapple. It tastes a lot like pineapple and very sweet. A total sugar shock. It's okay as a liqueur but not the rum I like
Sweet and a full pineapple flavour, ideal to drink ice cold on a hot summer evening.
Ce rhum arrangé à l'ananas de la distillerie Rivière du Mât, comme son nom l'indique est dominé par les notes d'ananas. Au nez, on est accueilli par l'ananas Victoria frais. La bouche et la finale sont également portées par les notes d'ananas sucrées. En résumé c'est un arrangé tout à fait honorable.
