The "Guyana Port Mourant Rum" was produced in Guyana at the Port Mourant distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler The Auld Alliance Singapore & Corman Collins Belgium. It was distilled in 2003 from Molasses with a Column Still and then aged for 14 years. The rum has an ABV of 45%. This is a limited release and there are only 500 bottles. 16 community members rated this rum with an average of 8.7/10. #4502 01.12.2023 I was top to save this one for last and now I know why. Once rested this is a great release in very good balance between the elements. Lightly fruity with nice roasted wood and spices. The palate is oily with a vegetal and light medicinal touch. The finish is medium to long and warm with anise and raisin. The empty glass has some licorice, light leather and faint caramel.
