The Depaz 2000 is a cask strength agricole rum from Martinique, aged for 17 years. It has a strong wood presence, citrus notes, and spices. It is slightly alcoholic but balanced by buttery/brioche flavors. On the palate, there are fruity and spicy notes with an initial bitterness that fades away with freshness and tingling sensations. The finish is long with fruity, vegetal, and spicy notes - an excellent rum!

Definitiv einer der besten Depaz die ich bis dato hatte! Extrem rund, würzig frisch und fruchtig mild.

Ca commence bien avec un joli nez fruité (très marqué agrumes, entre mandarine et pamplemousse) plus un côté floral léger et des épices bien présentes. Un peu alcooleux mais contrebalancé par des touches beurrées/briochées. Au palais, rebelote, les fruits s'affirment d'avantage (pamplemousse), les épices aussi (muscade, bois exotique version Pier Import!), Une certaine amertume boisée présente au début et qui s'atténue ensuite. Une fraicheur et des picotements qui font penser au Brede Mafane de Madagascar. Une finale longue où l'on retrouve une canne fruitée, végétale et épicée, Waow!
