"Edit: Not bad at all in a daiquiri or as TiPunch, although it lacks a bit of punch. Unfortunately it only has 40%. It was already a fun experiment as an underdog splt. An unaged from Thailand was previously unknown to me. It would definitely be interesting to try it again in a daiquiri. Pure and with cola, there's something better in the price range. Conclusion: at least it broadened my horizons, a shallow HubbaBubba drink."
"Blind tasting: Agricole is clear, I can't make out the country, rather not Martinique or similar, it's not fruity enough for that, rather yeasty."
"Naja, das ist mal so gar nicht meins! Für mich hat der Issan nicht wirklich was mit einem Rum gemein! Er schmeckt recht künstlich!"
"The nose is obviously very vegetal and herbaceous. But for a white made from pure cane juice, it's a far cry from our usual agricultural rums, with a spicy, "piquant" aromatic profile. It's more like a Haitian clairin, but not quite. The nose is rather intense for 40% and interesting (sweet notes). On the palate, it's balanced and pleasant. There are of course aromas of fresh cane, but all spiced up with peppery touches. But it's far too sweet for my taste. There's no length at all, it lacks watts."
