Criticized by some for its "additions", La Flibuste remains an exceptional rum on the nose and palate. Don't deny yourself the pleasure. Complexity, harmony and depth. This is the rum that introduced me to the world of great molasses rums. It's like a bridge between these two worlds. I dream of tasting "La Flibuste" brut de fût, although this is not on the distillery's agenda.
The nose is something different from the normal rums from Martinique and a full well rounded rum well worth the money.
